Are You Prepared?

The past couple of years I have found myself in many waiting seasons in different areas of my life. Sometimes I receive one thing then back waiting again for something else. However, as I continued to have waiting seasons I’ve learned to handle them better than I did before. I started to be more understanding and patient until things changed. I’ve learned to change my perspective during these times and see the bigger picture. One question I asked myself was if I received what I’m praying for right now what would I do? Would I be ready? Could I handle it right now? Honestly, those answers were no. It was a hard reality to face but the good thing is I was able to change that answer by preparing.

So my question for you is:

If you received the thing you are praying for right now at this moment would you be prepared?

Do you have the money saved?

Did you create the budget?

Do you have the designs or products ready?

If someone offered to invest in your business do you have the business plan ready?

Did you write the vision down?

If you are waiting for a relationship are you healed and whole within yourself first?

Are you embracing singleness?

If you're waiting on a job opportunity, do you have your resume ready or the work ethic to do the job?

If you're waiting on God to give you clarity on your purpose, are you growing your relationship with Him?

Waiting seasons can be dreadful if you have the wrong perspective. They are meant to make us stronger and they also give us time to prepare. Don’t waste your waiting season wishing you were out of it. Take advantage of it. Get your stuff together for the day that it comes. I believe your heart's desires will come but until then wait well and become all that you can be. Sometimes God is just waiting on us to be ready because he knows we would mess up if we received our blessing too early.

We all grow weary at some point in our waiting season you are not alone in that but keep going keep preparing for at due time you will reap every blessing that belongs to you.

Stir your faith up and start preparing like it’s coming tomorrow. All you need is faith like a mustard seed to move mountains.
