Chasing HER - part 1

Years ago I would always envision myself as the woman I dreamed to be. I had a clear image in my head but I never thought I would actually become her. I felt like it was too late. I already made too many mistakes and living the life I chose. I felt like there was no way I could actually change my entire life, accomplish the goals I wanted, and be her. My mind was so stuck that I gave up before I even tried. I accepted my "stuck" place and decided it is what it is.

But thank God he didn’t let me stay there.

He reminded me that it’s never too late to become HER. This is only one season. I was able to reset my mind and go after the woman I wanted to be and the life I wanted for myself.

You may be in a stuck place or maybe you’ve already decided to chase the better you. I’m here to tell you the time is NOW. No need to wait for things to get better, for more money to come, for better relationships, for more time, or a better job. Now is the time to go after your dreams and become the woman you want to be.

In 2018 I wrote in a journal the vision I had for myself and the life I wanted. (Side note: if you don’t have a journal for yourself, you should definitely get one). I wrote down the woman I wanted to be, how I wanted to live my life, what I saw myself doing. This was way before the idea of a website/blog even came about. It wasn’t extremely detailed, it was just the overall vision I saw for myself. I didn’t know how I would become her, I just wrote what was in my heart.

Now looking back at that journal 3 years later, I can say I am becoming who I dreamed to be. The journey is not perfect and they're times that I fall back to “stuck” me. But the difference is this time I have the power to not let myself remain stuck and the confidence to know that it’s not the end.

Write down that big vision.

Write down the woman you dream to be and the life you dream to live.

Get in your spirit that you CAN be her and you WILL be her. Let’s let go of the excuses and chase after HER.
