Having faith for something can seem so easy in the beginning. At that moment, you truly believe you will see your promise. You can see the vision so clearly and are fully committed to it. You are confident in your faith because God already showed it to you.
But then time goes on and the wait gets longer and longer. You start to question if you heard God clearly or if you saw the vision correctly. Doubt begins to come in and you start to think it’s not going to happen. You question God if he forgot about you. You even start to give up.
But friend let me tell you, YOU ARE GOING TO BE OKAY, these are just growing pains. Growing pains come when there is greatness ahead. God showed you the vision before taking you through the process to get there. He is doing a work in you and preparing you for what’s to come.
Don’t fight these growing pains. I encourage you to push through daily and keep walking with God. He will be whatever you need each day. If it’s peace, strength, rest, or just a listening ear, he’s with you. Let your faith be stronger than your feelings. Pushing through these growing pains will make your faith and relationship with God stronger, which is the ultimate goal. God cares more about your walk with him. Be fully committed to him, not just the promise.
Having faith for something can be hard. Faith always comes with growing pains, but the end result is always worth it. The future you will appreciate the work you put in now. You are an overcomer! Pick your head up and keep going. You will make it to your promise!
“Then Jesus told them, “I tell you the truth, if you have faith and don’t doubt, you can do things like this and much more. You can even say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen.”
Matthew 21:21 NLT
