In It to Win It

As I’ve been spending more time working on my overall health and trying to get back active, every day feels like a hard reset. I have to push myself past comfort, go against what I want to do, and keep my commitment instead of giving up. Going through this cycle every day is hard when my mind and body want to do the exact opposite. One day as I was running I received a notification on my watch that said: “You're in it to win it”. Receiving this notification made me change my mindset from “I don’t want to do this” to “I’m in it to win it.” But not just physically, in my life as a whole. There are some things in this season that I don’t want to do or am just tired of doing but changing my mindset to “I’m in it to win it” helped me to put my trust back in God and keep going.

You may be trying to overcome challenges, achieve your goals, or just waiting for an answered prayer. Whatever your situation may be, have an "in it to win it" mindset and go get your promise. Every day push past your comfort and go after your win. It’s going to be hard, I’m sorry there’s no sugar coating it. Sometimes the battle is you against you but the result will be so worth it.

In 2 Kings 13, Elisha told King Jehoash to pick up the arrows and strike the ground. But he only struck the ground 3 times, which only gave him 3 victories instead of entirely defeating the enemy if he would have kept striking.

Don’t be like King Jehoash, keep striking the things in your life until you see a complete victory.

Don’t let your situation defeat you!

You are predestined to win your race.

Do whatever it takes regardless if others think it’s crazy.

Don’t keep sitting on the sideline in defeat get back in the game it ain’t over!

You will win every battle in your life!

You will see results THIS YEAR!

Don’t stop until you see it.

Be in it to win it!

“Then he said, “Now pick up the other arrows and strike them against the ground.” So the king picked them up and struck the ground three times. But the man of God was angry with him. “You should have struck the ground five or six times!” he exclaimed. “Then you would have beaten Aram until it was entirely destroyed. Now you will be victorious only three times.””

‭‭2 Kings‬ ‭13:18-19‬ ‭NLT‬‬
