When your dealing with struggles it’s hard to see the outcome or how you will make it through. It’s easy to feel tired and defeated. You may question why certain things are happening to you. I know I’ve had these feelings many times but as I look back I can see the purpose for it all. Every struggle we face has purpose attached to it whether we believe it or not. Our struggles are refining and shaping us into who we are created to be. They build up our stamina and prepare us for the next season. Every thing you are facing now will not go in vain. God works all things out for our good.
Last year brought me so much pressure trying to balance my life, my job, and the things God called me to do such as this blog. I had long days, long commutes, working 6 days a week, with a lot of responsibility. I became exhausted and really wanted the pressure to stop but I had to find a way to keep going. So instead of me fighting it, I just embraced the crazy schedule and made the best of it until it changed. All I could do was rest in God in order to keep my sanity. Fast forward to this year, a new opportunity came to me that requires everything I've learned over the past year. From the knowledge, the responsibility, the character, and the strength I’ve gained. God made me ready for this moment, even when I couldn’t see it. So don’t give up in the middle of the struggle, it’s going to work in your favor.
Embrace the changes that struggles may bring. Don’t fight against them, keep adjusting as you move forward. Purposeful changes are good. Whether it’s a physical change or a mindset change, it’s shaping you for the things you may be praying for. Keep wading to victory. You may feel pressure and resistance but keep pushing, your promise is coming. You will see it all work out and that purpose was attached to it all along. You are a diamond in the making.
“So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.”
Galatians 6:9 NLT
