Where's your Faith?

Have you found yourself growing weary lately?

Waiting for times to change? Waiting for your prayers to be answered? Waiting for your dreams to come to pass?

I find myself in this place many times as I wait for certain things in my life. I start to feel like it’s been so long that it’s never going to happen. I start to lose hope and give up on the vision. But when I begin to feel doubtful I remind myself of this scripture

Galatians 6:9 – Let us not grow weary or discouraged in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap, if we do not give in.

Friend, God’s timing is always perfect. As I think back at the times God did answer my prayers, it was always at the right time. It all made perfect sense once it happened. I understood why I had to wait.

You may find yourself in a moment like this, losing faith, losing hope, not expecting any more.

I encourage you to go back to that initial vision you had and speak life over it again (write it out if you haven’t already). Pray over it, go to God about it again. God is not offended by our frustrations. He wants you to come to him no matter what. Get your faith back, get that excitement back like you had in the beginning.

You see sometimes we have to go back, not to remind God but to remind ourselves of the vision. Our faith sometimes gets left behind in the wait and we have to go back and get it. God hasn’t forgotten not one single prayer or the desires of your heart. He hasn’t forgotten your dreams or your pain.

His promise still stands. Get your hope back! Start expecting again! All you need is faith as small as a mustard seed. Start this year filled up with hope, faith, and expectation.

Your dreams will come to pass!

The right doors will open!

Your debt will be paid!

An increase will come!

The right relationships will come!

You will be healed!

It may be hard in the wait right now but don’t lose your faith.

Keep expecting, I will be believing with you.

I’ve seen God show up and it’s always worth it.

Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen

Hebrews 11:1
